A sudden intense storm swept through the town this afternoon, leaving thousands without power. Reports indicate that several of trees were uprooted and power lines downed as a result of the heavy gusts. Residents are advised to stay indoors and avoid downed power lines. Emergency crews are currently working to restore power and here assess the dama
